Genesis Schools, Inc. is a ministry of Tonganoxie Christian Church. We offer classes from preschool to 8th grade. Our core curriculum is built from A Beka, Bob Jones, and A Reason for Handwriting. We promote academic excellence from a Christian perspective. We also strive to equip young people to serve God and others.
Tonganoxie Christian Church started a preschool many years ago. In the late 90’s a vision began to grow for the establishment of a grade school. In 1997, Genesis Schools, Inc. was formed. The first school year there was just a Kindergarten and 1st grade class. Each year, additional classes were added and now Genesis Schools includes Preschool through 8th grades. There were 65 preschoolers and 125 K-8 students during the 2009-2010 school year.
